This notification service gives you a chance to review real estate documents to protect you from fraud and protect your home from a foreclosure. Property and mortgage fraud continues to be a fast-growing white-collar crime as scammers record documents that potentially affect real property. To provide notice of a possible fraudulently recorded document that may have otherwise gone undetected, the County of San Diego Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk's Office is offering access to the Records Notification Service. Once registered for this service, you will be notified via automated e-mails.
When a document is recorded into the County of San Diego Official Records and the indexed name and/or Assessor Parcel Number (APN) matches the name and/or APN you registered, an e-mail will automatically be sent to the e-mail address provided. Not all APNs and names are entered in the Official Records index. Please review the list of document titles and their indexed fields by clicking
